I received this report through the online reporting form on this site. I have met with the witness who wishes to remain anonymous due to the belief that her friends and family would think her infirm of mind. The witness was extremely sure that she saw what she described. My impression of the witness was and is that she functions and speaks with a levelheadedness of a well-educated and sane individual. The witness is a 62 year old retired nurse from this area. This is a preliminary report on this sighting, and there will be follow-up's posted as more information becomes available to OUFOR2. Below is the information from the online sighting report.

Full Sighting Description from Witness Statement:
I had just arrived to walk my dog around 8:30 am when I felt compelled to look behind me. I was parked facing the dog exercise area and my back was to the east in direction.
I turned around and at first I did not notice that anything was different, until I saw a blackness out of the corner of my left eye. I turned to look and saw a triangle shaped object just above the tree line coming from the north moving slowly to the south of me it had 3 whitish lights below it. I stood and watched it go across the horizon ( above trees on ridge of hill ) and stop for a moment to the south east of where I was standing by my car. It paused for a moment and I swear I thought it made a rotation of sorts. Moments after the pause in the thing’s movement to the south, it ( the craft ) shot off to the southern horizon beyond my view.
After it left, I noticed that the birds had not been chirping or flying around while the thing was around. It was not until it had gone that the birds began to sing and fly around like normal. My dog seemed un affected by the whole thing. It was totally silent the whole time.
Initial Findings:
I met with the witness on 8/25/2010 in the dog park and asked her all the usual questions. The witness seemed certain and concerned about the sighting and was not making any rash statements about the craft or of it being of unknown origins. She also exclaimed it to be like no other air plane or balloon she had ever seen. She also included that she knew what the B2B Stealth bomber looked like and this was not it. She made the statement that “ The B2B can’t stop!” The OUFOR2 will be conducting further checks with the FAA at the PDX tower and also by contacting the Oregon Air National Guard at (PANG) as well.
OUFOR2 has checked the weather conditions for the sighting date and has confirmed that the witness’s statement and the official weather conditions match.
Shown below are views of the location via Google Earth and also forensic models built to illustrate the witnesses sighting. The witness has NOT yet viewed the forensic reconstruction models. Witness is to review the models and respond within a week of this posting. These models are for illustrative purposes and are NOT 100% accurate as to what may have been witnessed since there was only one witness and no actual photographs or videos taken.
This sighting is an open case with the OUFOR2 and further investigation and reporting of findings will be published in this report as information becomes available to the investigation team. As you may know, Oregon is the in the upper part of " Triangle Alley " and there have been many similar sightings like this over the years. All of those sightings have been logged as unexplained and closed. The OUFOR2 will exhaust all avenues of information gathering before a final report is filed here.
UPDATES: 09/03/2010:
I made a telephone call to the 142nd fighter wing command at the PANG base at the PDX airport asking if they had received a report of a "Signal only" craft on 8/3/2010 in the sighting area and over PDX in general. I was switched to the wing commander on duty and was politely informed that the 142 fighter wing did not get any such report that day of a "signal only" hit. No fighters were dispatched other than for routine training.
A "Signal only" is a craft that is not broadcasting a transponder signal that is required by federal law on all aircraft. This is the signal that identifies the aircraft to the ATC on their radar screens. It shows the "N" number and other properties of the craft.

A note from Cameron Johnson regarding this sighting:
It is my opinion, and my opinion alone, that this sighting is related to the 7/24/2010 Nansen Park sighting because of the description of the craft. Both the black triangles had only 3 bright white lights seen on the bottom of the craft. The only difference in the two sightings so far are the fact that the craft stopped moving in the 8/3/2010 Hazelia Dog Park sighting and also sped away at a phenomenal rate of speed. Other than those two differences, the craft appear to be one in the same.

I received this report through the online report form on this site. I have met with the witness who wishes to remain anonymous due to his position as a doctor in the community. The witness was very adamant that he saw what he described and seemed like a very level headed man. This is a preliminary report on this sighting and there will be follow-ups posted as more information becomes available to the OUFOR2. Below is the information from the online sighting report:

Full Sighting Description From Witness Statement:
I was walking my dog out to do his nightly business in the park near my home ( Nansen Park ) and while I was waiting for him to finish up I caught sight of something out of the corner of my left eye to the west of me and turned to look. I saw 3 whitish lights moving towards me ( to the east ) at what I thought was about 500 to 1000 feet in the air. As it drew closer I was able to make out the crafts shape as triangular in fashion. It drifted slowly over head and away to the northeast and seemed to speed up the further it got from me until it was gone. There was no sound that I could hear and my dog did not react to it at all. I would like to know what this may have been, but, due to my being a doctor I request to be kept anonymous in the public eye. Contact info withheld by request of the witness.
Initial Findings:
I met with the witness on 7/28/2010 in the park and asked him a barrage of the usual questions and from first impressions I found him to be a stable intelligent man without an agenda or any obvious deceptive statements. He seemed truly perplexed and concerned about the sighting and was not making any rash statements about it being an alien craft or a craft of known origins. He seemed fairly savvy on the local ( usual ) air traffic in his neighborhood too. He did repeat several times that “ It was like nothing I have every seen before “. The OUFOR2 will be conducting further checks with the FAA at the PDX tower and also by contacting the Oregon Air National Guard at PDX as well. OUFOR2 has already checked the weather conditions for the sighting date and has confirmed that the witnesses statement and the official weather conditions match.
Shown below are views of the location via map and also forensic models built to illustrate the witnesses sighting. The witness has viewed the forensic reconstruction models and has agreed that they closely represent what he viewed that night. There has been added detail to the forensic model from information that the witness expounded upon during our interview. These models are NOT 100% accurate as to what may have been witnessed since there was only one witness and no photographs or videos taken.

Update to the 07/22/2010 Black Triangle Sighting [08/05/2010]
I met with a representative of the FAA at the PDX airport office today and filed a formal request for information form ( pictured below ) with his office. He received it and dated it with today's date and the request is now official. They can still deny it if they feel it is deemed of a sensitive nature or not to be released to the public for what ever reason they want to state. I feel that I was well received and was actually listened too by the supervisor, although, this time in his office seemed a little formal compared to visits in the past. It is now up to the local FAA office brass to decide and could take up to 4 weeks before approval is made. If the approval is denied, the OUFOR2 will submit the form to the Washington DC office of the FAA for formal review under the freedom of information act.

Three Large Lights Located on the Underside Towards the Points of the Triangle.UPDATE BY Cameron Johnson:
Today I met up with Mr. Jones [not real name] at Nansen Point Park for a follow up interview on his sighting and to also report my finding, or lack there in, concerning the event. I reported that I had really hit the wall with the FAA, but, got the police report data sheet for 7/24/201 and also the official weather from NOAA. I then asked him some follow up questions as listed next:
Have you had any health issues since the 7/24/2010 sighting.?
"I have been having more headaches lately, more than I normally do."Have you sought medical treatment for these headaches?
"No".Have you noticed anything else out of the ordinary with you or your dog?
"Not for me, but, the dog does not like the park at all any more."When you were seeing the craft on the night of 7/24/2010 did you experience any time slowing or time loss that you can remember?
"When I turned to look at the craft it seemed to glide slowly across the sky for about 2 minutes and then poof it was gone. Maybe then…. I’m not too sure."You said you first saw the craft at 11:45 PM right?
"Yes."I noticed that there is a large sign at the entrance of the park that states that the park is closed at 10:00 PM promptly and no one is to be in here by law. Can you explain this to me?
"I remember it was 11:35 when I walked out the front door and I live only a 5 minute walk from here so I got to the park around 11:40 PM. Residents here tend to disregard that sign."What time did you return to your home Mr. Jones?
"I remember it was around 12:05 PM or so because I kept turning around to see if it had come back."Mr. Jones, was there any memory loss to you from this sighting that people have noticed?
"No, not that I could put a finger on, no."Mr. Jones, is there anything you would like to add to your initial report?
"No, really nothing accept maybe that the dog does not like to come up here now at night." ( He stated with a slight laugh.)I took the photos during the daytime to get a better feel for which directions the craft was taking during the sighting and added the model for forensic purposes only.
The photo showing the small communications tower in the park is 50 feet to the south of the area the witness was standing during the sighting.
He had originally stated that the craft was around 500 to 1000 feet in altitude, but, after observing where he was pointing today and how high of an angle, in my opinion the craft was probably around 100 or less feet in altitude according to the size scale he had reported too. 100 to 200 feet across the flats of the sides. I’m thinking his scale was fairly accurate as he had described in his initial report. Mr. Jones still says that the craft made no noise or heat of any kind, just light and motion. The craft did not stop at any point either that he can remember.
Although it may seem strange that his dog does not like the park any more, dogs tend to read human emotion, so, it could be that his dog is reacting to his fear or confusion surrounding the park. Just a side thought. Since there was no real time loss evident according to Mr. Jones, I feel that there was no abduction during this sighting. Again just a side thought.
Well as per usual I find the more I ask the more questions I end up with about these sightings. I feel that this sighting should remain open for a while longer just in case Mr. Jones actually does have anything to add at a later date and to also see if the craft makes another showing this summer.
I had asked several times if Mr. Jones would like to be identified by his real name in this sighting report, but, he insisted he remain anonymous in all this due to his being a prominent doctor in the community.
Case remains unexplained and still actively open to the OUFOR2.

Although the craft below is most likely a CGI rendered craft, the Oregon sightings have very similar characteristics of flight. The Oregon sightings differ in that there is no center light and the craft did NOT blink out like the one in this movie.
