What We Like and Why!
The Spirit Garden: A Medium's Journey by David M. Baker
We consider ourselves very lucky to have crossed paths with Spirit Medium, David Baker. From his first appearance on our show, he immediately bacame a listener favorite. Of course, David is an exceptionally gifted Medium, and thge readings he offers to our listener have always been spot on, but there is so much more to David Baker than what you may hear on his monthly visits to our show.
In 2007, David Baker released a book - The Spirit Garden: A Medium's Journey. We follow David from his childhood until present day, tag along on his incredible journey to reclaim the gifts he had possessed as a child, cheer for him when he reaches high points in his life, and cry for him when he hits low points in his life. David does not sugar-coat any part of his book, he tells you exactly how it was and is, for better or for worse. But each proverbial speedbump brought David closer and closer to his dream, and, along the way, meeting his soul mate, Cheryll, who is also a very gifted Medium.
David's book is not filled with terms and twenty syllable words that many wouldn't understand, but is written in a manner that all will appreciate and understand. Reading David's book, getting detailed glimpses into his life, make one feel as though they might well be sitting around the kitchen table, sipping coffee or tea with a very dear family friend.
If you are curious about how Medium and Psychic skills are developed, or maybe even have questions about your own abilitites, The Spirit Garden is a book you won't want to miss. It is, all at once, serious, funny, reflective, happy, sad - a full spectrum of human emotions. And, in reading this book, many have found they have learned a lot about themselves in the process, and many have discovered that they may have gifts that they had not before been aware of.
Click the link above and head over to Amazon and grab a copy of The Spirit Garden: A Mediums Journey. You won't regret it! And, yes, you will find out exactly what The Spirit Garden is!
On The Fringe: The Series
They guys at On The Fringe have been good friends of ours since we met a few years ago onMySpace. They have been frequent guests on our show, and are another listener favorite. They are a group of down-to-earth boys from Oklahoma who have a passion for the unexplained; be it spirits, Bigfoot, Ghost Lights, etc. If there is a legend associated with it, On The Fringe is there.
Currently, On The Fringe airs in 17 countries in Europe, as well as TVU Networks, reaching a total of 120 million homes! What makes On The Fringe different from the type of paranormal reality television we may see here is that they do not dramatize anything. What they see, you see. What they hear, you hear. And if they find absolutely nothing, you see that as well. They are not out to impress, but to educate, and perhaps shine some light on local legends and lore.
The entire first season of On The Fringe is available above. At less than $10 per DVD, you might want to check out two or three!
2012: The Paranormal Cookbook by S.M. Belekurov
Shaun Belekurov is not only a brilliant author, but also a very credible paranormal investigator. And Shaun knows the paranormal! 2012: The Paranormal Cookbook is a potpourri of everything paranormal, cryptozoological, UFO related, and, of course, 2012! There isn't a subject that Shaun did not touch upon, quite extensively, in The Paranormal Cookbook; from werewolves to Phantom Clowns, to BEK and MIB, to synchronicity and time flaps, to Quantum Physics. Observer Effect and the Interactive Universe. And my personal favorite, Robert the Doll, which is probably the single most creepy account of actual incidents I have ever read!
We have been lucky to have had Shaun on the show twice thus far, and are looking forward to his recurring appearances every other month. 2012: The Paranormal Cookbook as well as Shaun's own paranormal investigations leave us with more than enough to talk about for years to come!
Shaun's book presents true account, serious scenarios, and a few "what-if's", and Shaun present each account with the dedication of a passionate paranormal researcher, and injects his smooth sense of humor in there as well. If you want to buy just one book that covers so many aspects of the paranormal and the unexplained, 2012: The Paranormal Cookbook is the book for you!
