Rick Stewart: Owner/Tech Manager
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Rick arrived in the Coos Bay area in 1989, via Reno, Nevada. Rick is the owner and Tecnical Manager for PSI of Oregon.
Rick has always had an interst in the paranormal, which was amplified after a family member passed away in his home. Even then, the interest remained tucked away in the back of his mind, though he was always aware of the things occurring around him. When Rick saw the abundance of paranormal programming on television, it solidified his belief that there were others out there with the same questions as he had.
Rick's most memorable paranormal experience happened during a PSI of Oregon private residence investigation, when he had the opportunity to investigatoe some out buildings. Looking up toward a "widows walk", Rick saw a "Misty apparition" moving toward him at a high rate of speed, and then pass through him. His physical reaction was much the same as team mate Josh Woods, in that he felt extremely cold and weak. "I guess I got slimed," Rick laughs.
When asked what her favorite part of an investigation is, Rick replied, " The setup and breakdown of the equipment. The correct camera andles can make the difference between gather good data and gathering unuseable data." The skeptic of the team, Rick exhausts all possible explanations for alleged paranormal activity before deciding on its true source.

More About Rick

Rick's advice to those new to the paranormal field to study. "Relax, learn, and have fun. Keep an open mind and don't get too caught up in yourself. Though some people like to think they are, you are not, nor will ever be Jason or Grant, so acting like a bigshot or a star will get you nowhere fast...except maybe getting yourself laughed at! There are no experts. How can one be an expert in the unknown? So we are all equals here, and working together, instead of against each other, is the only way to make progress in this field!"
When not working with PSI of Oregon, Rick enjoys golf, hiking the Pacific Coast trails, and spening time with his family.
