Wyoming

About Wyoming

Wyoming is a western land of open ranges, colorful Wild West history, and resplendent scenery. The Native Americans of Wyoming's eastern plains conflicted heavily with white settlers, creating one of the wildest western regions in the country. Famous cowboys including Buffalo Bill and Butch Cassidy are among the state's toughest historical characters. Wyoming became the 44th state on July 10, 1890.
